At Sycamore Brewing, we believe everyone should enjoy fresh beer made with top-notch ingredients.
Husband and wife team, Sarah and Justin Brigham, opened the doors of Sycamore Brewing’s taproom on November 1, 2014. Since then, as production volume soared, Sycamore has now become the largest Charlotte-born brewery as well as a top three craft brewery in North Carolina. At our current trajectory, we expect to be the largest independent brewery in the Carolinas by 2023.
Before moving production to our North Charlotte production facility, all beers served in the taproom were brewed on-site, using a 15-barrel, North American made brew-house.
Through the first 2 ½ years, more than 80% of the beer Sycamore produced was sold through the taproom. Products were also distributed to select on and off-premise accounts, primarily in Charlotte.
We now partner with 24 distributor partners and
offer our beer in all major retailers, spanning across 7 States.
We are sold in all major retailers in these states.

Sycamore Brewing’s Charlotte Douglas International Airport location is centered within the Terminal E extension. Concourse E is the largest of the five concourses with 46 gates, most international flights and is therefore expected to bring large amount of foot traffic through the Sycamore bar.
We are focused on providing a fun and relaxing atmosphere for people to enjoy a great beer. Our aesthetic is Carolina Bohemian; a fresh, natural and fun vibe. Square footage totals 2,000 sqft, including bar and back of house areas.
Sycamore Taproom remains one of the largest in the US with 350k unique visits per year.
Sales in barrels make Sycamore a top 50 brewpub in the country.
Sycamore has been a top 2 Uber destination in Charlotte since opening.
In May of 2023 we will open our new 10,000 square foot beer garden, taproom in Charlotte’s South End.
